Amy was an Ivy League student (majoring in biochemistry/minor in math) who couldn’t afford to remain in an Ivy League school, so from there she was: a farrier (really early twenties), who worked with/trained 4H kids and their horses for years, while training to Level 2 dressage and barrel racing; and drove a carriage in Salt Lake City.
She’s also been: a blacksmith, a silversmith and entertainer on the Renaissance Faire circuit; a retail manager for several international clothing companies; a photographer and layout artist/designer doing small business branding, product creation, and lots of layout work and publishing for everything from brochures to full magazines; a website and email administrator for a company’s world headquarters; a software specialist and member of a refresh team for a huge medical/hospital company; and currently am a communications consultant (employee & executive communications) for a company with locations in 14 states. |
